Colleen H. McCalmont / Owner + CEO
Colleen is the Owner and Chief Executive Officer of Premier Technical Plastics. Previously, she was co-owner of Premier Molding Company and served as Chief Financial Officer. Colleen is a graduate of Louisiana Tech University with a B.S., Petroleum Engineering degree.
Jim McCalmont / President
Jim is President of Premier Technical Plastics with responsibilities for sales and operational aspects of the business. He is a U.S. Navy veteran (Submariner) and has nearly 30 years manufacturing experience. Jim worked in engineering and management positions with Sunbeam Appliance Co., Black and Decker Corp., and Windsor Industries. He holds a B.S., Mechanical Engineering and Masters of Business Administration degree.
Jerre Ross / Vice President / Managing Director, Dallas, TX
Jerre is Vice President, Premier Technical Plastics, and has over 25 years manufacturing experience in operations and engineering management. He has been with the Dallas facility for 10 years as the Managing Director. Jerre has both a B.S., Petroleum Engineering, and M.S., Engineering Management degree.
Rick Tharp / Managing Director, Searcy, AR
Rick is managing director of the Searcy, AR operations and has been with the company for nine years. He has over 36 years experience in manufacturing logistics and materials management and holds both an A.A. and B.S., Business Administration degree.
Joe Garza / Managing Director, Southwest-TX
Joe is slated as the managing director for our proposed facility in the southwest region of Texas, which is scheduled for mid-2012. He has over 16 years of in-depth plastics injection molding experience in both quality and operations management. A native of McAllen, TX, Joe is very familiar with maquiladora and border industries.
Joe Nastasi / Director of Technical Services
Joe is the Director of Technical Services for all of the PTP operations and has over thirty years manufacturing experience in engineering and operations management. Prior to joining PTP seventeen years ago, he worked in the appliance and automotive industries. Joe has a B.S., Industrial Management degree from LSU.
John Jernigan / Director of Business Development
John leads our business development team and has over 15 years of various manufacturing experiences with eight of those directly involved in sales. His in-depth technical knowledge of custom injection molding and related business disciplines ensures our customers are able to discuss their plastics manufacturing needs with an expert in the field. John is a U.S. Army veteran having served in Desert Storm. He was also selected to participate in the pretigious and very demanding young corporate leadership program at A.P. Moller-Maersk in which he excelled.
